Ideal Board Games, currently based in Pitesti, was founded in 2005 in Bucharest, Romania, as a modern board games publishing company. In 2006 it started the publication of the Romanian version of the award-winning Settlers of Catan series, followed by Power Grid, one of the most appreciated board games worldwide. Ideal Board Games is dedicated to working with international publishers, such as Kosmos Verlags, to bring to the Romanian market the best classic games as well as the hottest latest titles.
