British born Michael Crampton studied illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California.
After freelancing in Los Angeles and in England, Michael then went on to become the Executive Art Director at Neiman Marcus, a luxury specialty retail department store. After six years at Neiman Marcus, Michael moved to New York City where he lived and illustrated. Michael now resides in Connecticut where he freelances domestically and internationally. He is represented in America, Europe and Australia.
His favourite commercial illustration subjects include travel, automobiles and lifestyle tourism that evoke the romance of posters from an earlier era.
Downforce is his first board game credit.
